$199/mo + $9/mo per billable student
No money upfront. No nickel-and-diming. Nothing to install. Nothing to maintain. You get the whole program, and all updates and support, for one low price. So you can just run your college.
What does the price include?
You get all of Populi—the software, all updates and upgrades, customer support for all your users, and implementation—together with free chunks of file storage and data transfer as well as monthly allotments of email and text messages.
Are there other costs involved?
We charge only the basic price (plus possible fees for extra file storage, data transfer, email or text messages). Some optional services we integrate with (payment processors, plagiarism-detection, etc.) may charge their own fees separate from Populi.
What's included with file storage and data transfer?
You can store up to 2,000 GB of files (documents, pictures, audio, video, etc.) and transfer 200 GB of data (file downloads, media streaming, etc.) for free each month. Additional storage is available for 10¢ per GB per month and additional data transfer is 15¢ per GB per month.
What technology investments does my school need to make?
You don’t need new servers, new staff, or other software for Populi to work. All you need are things you already have: computers, web browsers, and high-speed internet.
What's a billable student?
“Billable students” are your full-time, part-time, and auditing students who take at least one course in a calendar month. In other words, your cost scales with your enrollment. See the Terms of Service for more details.
How long is the service contract with Populi?
Populi is month-to-month. We don’t lock you down with long-term contracts. Why? It keeps us on our toes. Our business plan is simple: to win all of our customers back every month. And if we don’t win you back, you're free to leave.
How many emails and text messages does my school get?
You can send 50,000 emails and 5,000 text messages (U.S. and Canadian carriers only) for free each month. Additional emails are 0.05¢ per recipient. Additional text messages are 2¢ per text recipient, and additional toll-free texting numbers are available for $1 per number per month.
