New in Populi: a couple of new Portals for Admissions and Donors. Portals let people access their Populi information without a user account; rather, they get there through a very long, unique, randomized URL that you share with only that person. The Admissions Portal gives a lead access to her applications, inquiries, forms, and financial aid, while the Donors Portal provides a donor with a history of his contributions.
Portal Access
To give someone access to their Admissions or Donors Portal, start by going to their profile. Select the Portal Access action and send the link to the person's email; all they need to do is click the link to go there—no login required! Later you can return to this spot to generate a new link, delete it, or add a new email address.
Admissions Portal
The Admissions Portal is a dashboard that summarizes what the lead has done and needs to do next:
- Applications: The lead can view and submit applications they've already started, pay application fees, and ask application questions.
- Financial Aid: After you've packaged aid for the lead, she can accept/decline any offered awards, update her aid application, and print award letters and her College Financing Plan.
- Forms: If you've sent the lead a form response request, she can come here and respond to it, as well as view completed responses.
- Inquiries: If the lead has any active inquiries, she can update them here, as well as view any activity on past inquiries.
Donors Portal
The Donors Portal presents a donation history together with links to view/print receipts and yearly summaries, manage recurring donations, as well as a button to make a new online donation.
